Walnut Cracking at Home of Mrs. Weaver

UPPER COVE — A walnut cracking was held in the home of Mrs Caroline Weaver last Thursday night. Those present were, Caroline, Harry, Bud and Russel Weaver, Mrs Jake Kohne, Mrs Casper Fitzwater, Jake Funk, Melvin Fitzwater, Earl Delawder, Ervin May and Virgil Weaver, Misses Vergie and Edna Delawder, Lefa and Thelma Fitzwater, Gladys Fink and Hazel Weaver. Cake and candy were served later.

Mr and Mrs Harry Combs were helping to butcher on Kimsey's Run one day last week.

Otis Delawder and Howard Kohne were visiting in the Cove Sunday, on a motorcycle.

Miss Gladys Fink visited Mrs. Fred Souder's Sunday.

Gordon Souder spent the weekend with his parents.

Edward Souder and Fred Souder were shopping in Timberville Saturday.
